It is an undeniable that we do too much on a daily basis. In a culture of constant doing and achieving, Busy-ness is glorified and the value of rest is undermined.

This weekly 1.5hours restorative yoga class is an opportunity remedy that. The class focuses on re-balancing the nervous system towards the parasympathetic nervous system and rejuvenate our bodies through restorative yoga and yoga nidra, the practice of supportive physical postures, breathing practices and meditation to bring on a sense of deep relaxation.
The willingness to relax is all that is needed in this class. The body’s natural healing abilities is brought to the fore.

iRest Yoga Nidra is a modernized form of an ancient practice of healing and relaxation from the tradition of yoga. It is a form of mind-body training which promotes deep healing, health and well-being. While having clinically demonstrable effects, it is not psychotherapy.
The evidence-based benefits of this meditative self-inquiry includes reduced PTSD, insomnia, anxiety, chronic pain, depression and chemical dependency.
